Spirit of Holcim

The Brief

Holcim approached Altadicta to create a distinctive identity for Holcim Spirit - a global internal initiative designed to unite employees around the company’s shared purpose, values, and culture of sustainability and innovation.

The objective was to develop a symbol and visual language that could be instantly recognised and easily adopted across global teams reflecting the energy, pride, and forward-thinking nature of the Holcim brand.

Our Approach

Our design team then explored several creative territories, each expressing different facets of Holcim’s spirit - collaboration, progress, and sustainability. Through an iterative process, we refined the chosen route into a dynamic, evolving logo system built around movement and transformation.

The final Holcim Spirit logo combines a modern typographic mark with fluid, interconnected forms inspired by the textures and materials of the built world. The accompanying colour palette and graphic devices were designed to be vibrant and versatile, adaptable across both digital and physical environments — from event branding and merchandise to motion graphics and digital dashboards. To support global rollout, we created a comprehensive brand toolkit including logo variations, usage guidelines, motion templates, and campaign applications.
